If we could peer into the imagination of Ernest Hemingway, the vivid scenes would be like that of a friend’s photo album. His surroundings were so important to him, they could have seconded as his source of life. The veranda of his Key West home let him indulge in his tropical world from dawn to dusk. The most prominent mark on his horizon was the Key West Lighthouse.

As Papa rose early and stepped outside his master suite, the immaculate figure of the lighthouse greeted him morning by morning. And night after night, it would be the friend that would guide him home. We can only imagine that “Papa’s View” created another facet on his creative spirit.
